Firecracker Turkey Stir Fry

Ingredients

Firecracker Sauce

  • 1 cup beef broth

  • 1/2 cup sriracha

  • 1/3 cup tamari

  • juice of 1 lime

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp grated ginger

  • 2 cloves garlic, grated

  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

  • 1 tbsp arrowroot powder

Stir Fry

  • 1 tbsp avocado oil

  • 2 lb ground turkey

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 1/2 medium head green cabbage, thinly sliced

  • 1 head broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 1 block dried rice noodles, cooked according to package instructions

 
 

Instructions

  1. Heat a wok or large skillet over medium heat. Add avocado oil, once hot, add ground turkey, breaking it up with a wooden spoon as it cooks.

  2. Once the turkey is browned, add in cabbage and broccoli, stirring to combine. Cover with a lid and steam the vegetables for 5 minutes. Remove the lid and add the bell pepper, stirring to combine. Cover for another 5 minutes.

  3. Remove the lid and pour in the firecracker sauce. Cook until the sauce is thick and glossy. Serve as is or stir in cooked rice noodles, white rice, or zoodles.
